easy + healthy toddler snack

When my little Bear and I are on the go, I always pack a few different snacks for him in case he’s a little peckish or things start to go sideways (snacks are almost always the cure to a cranky/screaming toddler 🙂

This particular snack is one of my favourites for him, there’s a good variety of little items to choose from and he loves to happily munch away while we run errands.

This takes 5 minutes to throw together and I love having it ready to take a scoop out when we’re on the go and heading out the door.  I almost always have these items on hand (or a variation of everything, basically  a cereal, a cracker, dried fruit and a seed or nut.

pumpkin seeds | Cheerios | dried currants | plain Goldfish crackers

I scoop a handful of each into an air tight container and keep it in the pantry.  When I’m getting the diaper bag ready to go, I just scoop a little into his container, add a fruit pouch and his water bottle and we are good to go.
